Igor Khalatian, Chairman and Co-Founder of STAN recently gave an interview sharing his unique journey as an exceptional entrepreneur and leader. Igor Khalatian’s climbing journey lasted 74 days, with the main challenges start at 5,000 meters, where different problems and oxygen deprivation begin. At 8,000 meters, the Death Zone begins, from where you should either ascend or descend quickly. Igor shared another experience from his time at Bell Labs. He was confused to see his colleagues taking walks in the garden during working hours and asked them why. Their response was that they were THINKING.Igor realized that this was his place. The Bell Laboratories was known as a leading research center that developed a wide range of groundbreaking technologies including radio astronomy, the transistor, the laser, information theory, the operating system Unix, the programming languages C and C++, solar cells, the charge-coupled device (CCD), and various other optical, wireless, and wired communications technologies and systems.

A Perfect Match of AI and Human Ingenuity

During the interview, he discussed AI Generative and Predictive AI. Predictive AI uses mathematical methods to forecast future scenarios and trends, while Generative AI creates new images, videos, music, and more. Generative AI requires some initial creative input to produce content, while predictive AI analyzes historical data to make predictions.He mentioned as an example AI Pandora, which identifies music compositions that he likes in Jazz and finds common themes that he enjoys. In line with this, Igor starts his AI-based company focusing on predictive AI. His latest startup is Iris Dating, which utilizes AI to analyze millions of profiles in seconds, identifying matches based on personal preferences and mutual attraction.
